A Global Perspective. A Coherent Path Forward.

Where This Work Begins:

Most people who reach out have already 'done something': they've read the books, tried the apps, maybe done therapy or coaching. They're not starting from zero — but they're stuck. Intelligent, self-aware, and still running on patterns they can't quite see clearly enough to change. That gap is exactly what this work was built for.

Finding the Limits of a Restrictive Framework:

My path to building this framework was not linear — and that matters. Raised in France, educated in Beijing and Los Angeles, I came to understand early that identity is not fixed — it is shaped by context, language, and the stories a culture hands you before you're old enough to question them. Studying Mandarin at Tsinghua University, then completing two degrees at UCLA, I moved between several  worldviews. That experience didn't just inform my academic work. It became the foundation for how I understand the self.

I began my career in clinical and community work in Los Angeles, working with people across circumstances and backgrounds. What I kept seeing was this: people weren't necessarily suffering from a lack of insight; they were suffering from a framework too restrictive to hold the full complexity of who they were.

I moved into private psychotherapy practice because I wanted to go deeper — more individualized, more integrative than most clinical contexts allow. And for a long time, that was enough. Then it wasn't.

Beyond Conventional Tools:

The more I learned and worked — and the more I committed to practicing every methodology I taught — the more I encountered the ceiling of conventional psychology myself. Cognitive tools are powerful. Recognizing distortions, replacing patterns, building coping strategies — these matter. But they address the furniture of the mind, not the architecture.

What I kept finding, in my clients and in my own growth, was that the deepest patterns aren't cognitive. They are stories we inherited before we had the language to question them — cultural, familial, existential. And the frameworks best equipped to address that level of the self weren't modern at all.

One Coherent System:

What I've built is the integration of Western philosophy, Eastern philosophy, neuroscience, somatic work, and the ancient perennial wisdom traditions — not as a menu of options, but as one coherent framework. Because the mind, body, nervous system, and meaning-making are not separate systems. They are one system. And that is how I work with them.

What Working Together Looks Like:

Sessions are collaborative and grounded. I draw from trauma-informed practices, somatic tools, and philosophical frameworks — each adapted to what you specifically need. You will leave each session with concrete tools to apply between sessions, not just insight to sit with.

Because the body and mind are not separate, I integrate what I've learned about sleep, nutrition, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle into the work. If something in your daily rhythms is working against your quality of life, we name it and address it — practically, not theoretically.

What Clients Tend to Notice Over Time:

They stop feeling like something is fundamentally wrong with them. They start seeing narrative and behavioral patterns. They develop the capacity to witness their inner world with curiosity rather than judgment and that changes everything.

My goal is for you to no longer feel that external guidance is necessary, over time. The clarity, the tools, and the self-understanding we build together are yours to keep.
